Witney Futures Group is pleased to announce that its Managing Director Simon Witney has been appointed as Environment Lead for the M3 Junction 9 Development Consent Order. The DCO proposals are to improve the motorway junction at Winchester and adjacent to the South Downs National Park. Simon was appointed by Stantec under contract to undertake a variety of environmental planning advisory, review and technical support roles now including the M3 Junction 9. Stantec is working closely with VolkerFitzpatrick Ltd the contractor for the Scheme on behalf of National Highways. The Examination period for the Scheme formally starts next week.
